Payment Information: Billing address and transaction data. Payment card details are processed exclusively by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

Testing Results: Analytical data generated by our laboratory from your submitted sample, including purity percentages, identity confirmation results, and associated metadata.

Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral source. This data is collected automatically via standard server logs and analytics tools.

Communications: Records of email correspondence, support tickets, and any written communications between you and our laboratory.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

- **Service Delivery:** To process sample submissions, conduct testing, issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and communicate results to you. - **Public COA Records:** Certificate data (compound name, lot number, purity, identity, methods, and COA number) is published to our public verification database by default. Client identity, name, company, and contact information are never included in public records. You may request a private COA at time of order. - **Account Management:** To create and maintain your client portal account, track submission status, and provide order history. - **Communications:** To respond to inquiries, send order confirmations, deliver results, and send service-related notifications. - **Legal Compliance:** To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from governmental authorities. - **Site Improvement:** Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us improve the website and our service quality.

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Payment Processor: Stripe, Inc. processes all payment transactions. We share billing information with Stripe solely to complete your purchase. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Laboratory Operations: If a portion of testing is conducted by a contracted reference laboratory, sample data (compound code, test parameters) may be shared under a confidentiality agreement. Client identity is never disclosed.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aegis, our clients, or the public.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

We will never disclose your identity, sample details, or test results to any peptide supplier, manufacturer, broker, or third party for commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention

COA Records: Certificate of Analysis data is retained permanently as part of our public verification infrastructure. COA records are write-once and cannot be deleted by design — this immutability is a core feature of our authentication system. The COA number and result data remain publicly accessible indefinitely.

Personal Information: Contact information, account data, and order history are retained for five (5) years following your last interaction with our services, after which they are securely deleted from operational systems.

Payment Records: Transaction records required for accounting and legal compliance are retained for seven (7) years per standard financial record-keeping requirements.

Communications: Email and support correspondence is retained for three (3) years.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
