Research use statement: Aegis testing services are for research documentation and quality characterization purposes. Our COAs document analytical findings only and do not constitute regulatory approval or endorsement for human use.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Aegis Peptide Analytics LLC ("Aegis," "we," "us," or "our") and you ("Client," "you"). By submitting a sample, placing an order, accessing our website, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using our services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Aegis provides third-party analytical testing services for synthetic peptides and related compounds. Services include, but are not limited to:
HPLC-UV purity analysis
LC-MS/MS molecular identity confirmation
ICP-MS heavy metal screening
GC-FID residual solvent analysis
Endotoxin (LAL) and microbial limits testing
Issuance of Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
Public COA verification database access

Our analytical testing services are provided for research documentation, quality characterization, and supply chain verification purposes. Our COAs document the analytical findings of our laboratory under the conditions and methods specified therein.
Our services do not constitute: (a) regulatory approval of any compound; (b) certification that any compound is safe or suitable for human consumption or injection; (c) a representation that a compound complies with any particular regulatory standard; or (d) medical, pharmaceutical, or legal advice.
All compounds submitted to Aegis are accepted on the understanding that they are research compounds. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring their activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
Aegis expressly disclaims any liability for use or misuse of any tested compound or COA data for purposes other than legitimate research documentation.
By submitting a sample for testing, you represent and warrant that:
You have legal authority to possess and submit the sample
All information you provide about the sample (compound identity, lot number, etc.) is accurate to the best of your knowledge — we rely on client-provided metadata for COA labeling
You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing possession and transport of the submitted material
You will not misrepresent any Aegis COA, including using our COA data to make claims that exceed what the analytical data supports
You are not submitting samples with the intent to fraudulently obtain favorable test results — we test what is submitted and report what we find
Providing false information about a sample constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in account termination.
Orders: Service orders are placed through our website submission form or by direct arrangement with our laboratory. Orders become binding upon confirmation by Aegis.
Pricing: Prices are published at aegispeptideanalytics.com/pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to update pricing; the price in effect at time of confirmed order applies to that order.
Payment: Full payment is required before testing commences. We accept major credit cards via Stripe.
Cancellation: Orders may be cancelled for a full refund prior to sample receipt at our laboratory. Once a sample has been received and testing initiated, no refund is available. If a sample is lost in transit before receipt, we will work with you to arrange re-submission.
Rush Processing: Rush turnaround is subject to availability and is confirmed only upon written acknowledgment from our laboratory.
Advertised turnaround times (e.g., "48–72 business hours") are standard targets that begin upon confirmed sample receipt at our laboratory, not upon order placement or shipping. Turnaround times are business hours and may be affected by:
Sample quality or insufficient quantity requiring client notification
Instrument maintenance or calibration requirements
High submission volume periods
We will notify you promptly if turnaround will exceed the estimated timeline. Extended delays beyond 150% of the stated turnaround time entitle the client to a 15% service credit on the affected order. We do not guarantee turnaround for samples received on holidays or weekends; these begin processing on the next business day.
Accuracy: We perform all tests using validated, documented methods with traceable reference standards. Our results represent the analytical findings of the submitted sample under the stated conditions. We make no representation about future stability or the performance of other batches of the same compound.
Immutability: All COAs issued by Aegis are write-once records. Once a COA is issued, the analytical result data cannot be altered by anyone, including Aegis employees. This immutability is a core feature of our service.
Public Records: By default, COA data (compound name, lot number, purity, identity confirmation, methods, and test dates) is published to our publicly-accessible verification database. Client identity is never disclosed. Clients who require private COAs must request this designation at time of order.
Result Disputes: If you believe a result is analytically inaccurate (not merely unfavorable), you may request a formal review within 14 days of COA issuance. We will review the raw data, instrument records, and method documentation and respond within 10 business days. We do not offer re-testing as a dispute remedy; disputes are resolved through data review only.
Failed Results: We report failed results exactly as the data shows. We have no financial interest in any particular result. A FAIL result is not a defect in our service — it is the service working correctly.
Aegis will not disclose your identity, contact information, or the fact that you used our services to any third party, including any peptide supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or competitor.
We treat all client communications, submission notes, and unpublished order details as confidential. Our employees and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Note that COA analytical data (not client identity) is public by default. See Section 7 for details on private COA designation.
Aegis maintains strict independence from all entities in the peptide supply chain. We do not hold equity in, receive referral fees from, or have any financial arrangement with any peptide supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or retailer.
Our full Conflict of Interest Policy is published at aegispeptideanalytics.com/conflict-of-interest. Violation of our conflict of interest policy by any employee is grounds for immediate termination and public disclosure.
This independence guarantee is a material term of our service. If this representation is ever found to be inaccurate, clients are entitled to full refunds of all testing fees paid.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AEGIS PEPTIDE ANALYTICS LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT WILL AEGIS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
This limitation does not apply to: (a) liability arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct; (b) claims that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware. The arbitral decision shall be final and binding.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Conflict of Interest Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aegis regarding our services.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger or acquisition.
